I've been some what out of the loop here lately working 2 jobs etc.
I have been running the 0404 bios on mine since I installed it a few months ago.

Now Im wondering if the newer Bios' are any good...and if so which one to use.
Any suggestions or input for a Q6600 on a P5K deluxe are most welcome.

Hi Wanna, if it's any help, I've been running version 0601 beta for roughly two weeks now. All seems dead on, no problems whatsoever. They have actually taken versions 0503 amd 0505 off the d/load site, why, your guess is as good as mine. Hope this helps you go faster

I'm still driving 0404 but haven't tried the later versions.

still running the 05xx one but the 0311 worked the best for me, might even go back if 0601 isnt good..

Bottomline: The thing seems to work great on just about any BIOS (except those 5 series).

Sounds like there really arent any "bad" ones for this motherboard.

I guess as always......the right answer is to try them and see which works best for me.
Someday I may even have time to do that

It is coming along nicely so far....but very exhausting to say the least.

We sold most all the PC's I built 2 weeks ago and have re-ordered parts.
All of which arrived yesterday. Spent last night going through the order and sorting etc.
Heading up that way now to begin assembly on 5 new floor models, and to stock and price the rest of the parts.
