Guys-
I just want to say that you all did very well. If the rules hadn't been changed and if things had gone a little bit smoother I think we would've been a bit higher in the standings. Taking 4th place in nearly every category isn't bad at all, especially considering that a few of our powerhouse rigs failed to post an overclocked score.
The Pit wanted to win it all and they wanted PCP to come in second. They managed to accomplish that goal. I don't think anyone has congratulated them, however, as it was an ugly win no matter how you look at it. They have some awesome rigs over there but the way they ran this show leaves a lot to be desired.
'Nuff said on the Forum Wars. As far as I am concerned I think we accomplished a lot these last few months. Gents, we have created some great overclockers here at AI and that makes me VERY happy.
If you look at where we started 3 months ago and where we are now it is truly amazing. I think we had maybe 5 folks on the team who knew how to overclock a PC. I can honestly say that each one of you is now a bona fide overclocker who knows how to get the best out of his rig. That is freakin' awesome in my book.
Really, that was our goal when this all started. That was the reason I wanted anyone and everyone to play, regardless of their specs. You guys have got to be proud of the performance you got out of your PC's, especially considering that many of you didn't know the FSB from CAS latency prior to this competition. If there hadn't been a Forum Wars we wouldn't have a whole new crop of overclockers here at AI.
Frankly, I believe we accomplished our main goal, teaching a bunch of guys how to overclock, having some fun and making some new buddies. Despite the Rat's underhanded bull and the sour taste it left in my mouth I am really going to miss the Bench Marking Team forum. This was a lot of fun and it is over and that kinda sucks.
I learned a lot the last few months from you all. You guys are the best and I am proud of you and what you have accomplished. Thanks for letting me lead and thanks for playing. Well Done Mates!
Now, we have to get those Team Shirts squared away.

I really want an Asus Independent OverClocking Team T-Shirt with "Fryed Trying" (Arlies words) on the back.
