A nice shiny Lian Li eh.... I'll have to buy one to see what the fuss is about.. The 6850 is the biggest
Paul-
Lian Li's are an acquired taste. There are more convenient cases out there and some that are truly innovative but the LLs are addictive and once you build in one you just can't seem to give up the habit. There is just something about them that you can't give up. High quality and undeerstaed beauty top the list though. Of course I'm a PC P&C addict as well so takt that for what it is worth.
Kwikky-
I think the e6850 is about as fast as you can get now, at least under $300. Believe me, you will love that CPU, Paul has some remarkable numbers with it. It truly is the best dual core ever made.

Did you just mention Lian-Li and PC P&C in the same post?
A moment of silence please, for greatness.
Cool_case has some better numbers with the e6850 now Merc... but I'll try to come back

I looked at one of those LianLi v2000 cases, pretty big tho,PC P&C we probably cant buy anymore, and they are thin on the ground in this country.
How about building a computer inside of a mini beer refrigerator, with an internal dehumidifier??
May help cool the Norhtbridge and the vregs a little but it will not make the CPU itself cold enough, the cold has to be concentrated directly on the die itself to make any difference. At over 1.9v these things make a LOT of heat.
People do use phase change units to cool the CPU directly but they use a copper block for the evaporator mounted on the CPU. I was going to bench inside the walk in refrigerator at work to try and stop some condensation
LOL!!
The good part about this is, one of my good friends is a cryogenic gas supplier (I keep 1,000 L of liquid nitrogen right behind me at all times), so if I ever really DO get into this hardcore, I should have a good hookup!!

WOOT!!! Parts FINALLY ordered!!!! some of the stuff went on sale, as far as cases go I didnt have much choice, so I ended up with an Antec Performance One P180B because I had to get everything from newegg. Anyways, ended up with an e6850, 2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR-800, Asus P5K, BFG 8800 GTS 640MB video card, and a Thermaltake W0106RU 700W psu. That should work "ok".
