I changed out for another E6600 today, which went well. However, the CPU temps were a bit high, so I remounted the waterblock. Now it will POST and the blue bar scrolls, but instead of Windows starting I get a black screen with a frozen mouse cursor. Checked PSU volts with a DMM, all OK. I've removed the sound card and the second video card, but same symptom. Ran a round of mem-*test*-('"), no errors. It even freezes in Safe Mode.

I'm going to continue working on it but will connect via laptop to the Tech room hoping somebody comes in.

Well, no idea what fixed it. I put the second GPU and sound card back in, booted and went into windows just fine. Had me chasing my tail for 4 hours. Sometimes, I just hate computers...lol

Thanks to Chuck for coming into the tech room and helping...just wish I knew what happened.
