New power supply.

Gidday guys. I plan on buying a second 8800 GT. Currently I have an ultra 600 watt, but I want to get something bigger for the second card. I have about 6 fans going, two sata drives, and lots of external usb components. I was looking into a Pc power 750 silencer. Think that should be sufficient? The next one up from that here that I can get is the 1KW. The 750 is around 215$ and the 1KW rockets up to 450$. If the 750 will work then I will go with that as I do not plan on any other further upgrades for atleast... well.. we'll say 4-5 months. with the exception to more ram when I upgrade to vista.

I'm positive the 750 Silencer will be more than enough for what you'll have. I got the 750 Crossfire (same exact psu, just different color, and it was $20 less at the time I believe). Most here love their PC P&C psu's, I couldn't be happier with mine.

yeah I think I will get the 750. Just looked at tigerdirect.com, and my xfx 8800 GT is only 219.00. Only on sale till the end of the month though, so I just might pick one up.
