per a post a few down the list, programs File Recovery 4 and Smart Recovery 4.5 were offered as good programs to try. I have downloaded both programs, but could not download the Manual listed. That page acts "dead" when it comes up - no ability to select language or to start the download.

Question is - are the programs intuitive enough to run without the manual(s), or do I need to keep trying every few days until the web page works?

TIA, or any tips would be appreciated on using them.
