Can someone please help. I have an A8n32-SLI MB and since I started it up I've had background noise creeping into the audio. For exapmle, when I move the mouse I can audibly hear a rise in noise level. Other standard functions also increase the background noise level. It is very irritating.
Approximately 3 months ago I accidentallly ran into a thread that discussed this issue and I believe it also had a "Fix." I can't seem to find anything on this issue any longer. Help!

Are you running onboard audio? (you should post your specs in your signature you can do this through the "my controls" at the top of the page.) If so I believe that we narrowed the "accidental" noise to interference in the onboard audio or backplane. I don't believe anyone has actually -*test*-('")ed this though. Your best bet is to get a sound card. This will always clear up any internal problems. If you are getting noise as a result of EMI from other cables you'll just have to separate your audio and data cables. you can get a decent sound card for 30$ be careful where you buy from though. A lot of computer illiterate stores have been suffering all sorts of false returns. (I picked up a box that said SB audigy SE and got a SB audigy which is far from the same thing and is giving me a ton of trouble but that's another story) Hope that helps you out.
Grim is correct on this one. I have the same issue on my 32 when it is overclocked with 5.1 or 7.1 speakers. I still have not found a solution for it. I have it on my list of things to do this week to try the NVidia drivers and see if they are any better than the Realtek drivers. It's not EMI (at least not controllable EMI). If you have the budget and space in your case for a sound card, that is the easiest solution.
